Question Regarding Physics/Sound
« on: November 20, 2007, 06:10:05 AM »
A question regarding game physics.  There a lot of MW4 fans here which concern me.
I was more a MW2 Clans/GBL/Mercenaries fan because of the feel of the mech.  It was slow.  Heavy.  You could Feel the weight of your mech as you turned or twisted the torso to take aim at something.

MW4 was too much of an arcade game for me.  But the kids picked it up quick because it was that much faster and more "fun"

Secondly, I really loved the soundfx for the weapons in the MW2 games (except Mercs sounded a bit weak).
Where will you be sourcing your sound from?

Couldn't really remember mw3's sound but found some samples here:

All the sounds are being completely redone by our sound team. I'll see if i can get some of them to post some samples to give you an idea ;)
